About the event
"Ever wondered how populations grow, or how predator-prey dynamics play out? Join our workshop, 'DE-mystify Your World: First-Order Fun!', and unlock the secrets of first-order differential equations! We'll explore how these powerful tools model real-life scenarios, mastering basic analytic solutions and numerical approximations. Discover the magic of recursion as we bring these models to life. While a little calculus helps, a solid grasp of sequences is your golden ticket. Let's turn those patterns into predictions!"
Pre-requisites to be able to take this workshop: Completion of Algebra II, Pre-Calculus. Some calculus and coding experience is a plus but not required.
Participant will need a personal Laptop with at least a RAM: 4GB, CPU: Dual core 1GHz, Browser: Safari 13, Microsoft Edge 93, Google Chrome 93 or Mozilla Firefox 70.
This course has a maximum of 5 participants.
